Location: Jewell County, Kansas is located in the center of the northern tier of counties in North Central Kansas. US Highway 36 intersects with State Highway 14 in central Jewell County two miles east of the county seat of Mankato. US Highway 81 is approximately 30 miles east of Mankato. Interstate 70 lies approximately 70 miles to the south.
