It’s hard to know which historical treasure defines Ness County, Kansas most. Is it the homestead of famed inventor George Washington Carver? This friendly farming and ranching community is home to just over 3,100 residents, about half of them living in the county seat of Ness City. Other towns include Bazine, Brownell, Ransom, and Utica. Wide open spaces and fertile land make Ness County a welcoming home for residents and visitors.
